damn that's fucked up.

I know a girl who was almost a victim of a gang initiation. She was in Wisc. and she was at a cafe/bar type of thing late at night and some dude broke into her car and got in the back seat. Some other old guy saw and called the cops.. like 10 minutes before she walked out to get back into her car. The cops got there and arrested him. They found out later that he was planning on killing her and stealing her car so he can get into a gang. So she got lucky as hell.

but I can't imagine a kid doing it to his friend. That's fucked up.

It's about how little people value the lives of others and how they'll do anything to get acceptance. Killing someone to join a gang so you look "hard" or tough makes you a criminal.
