This team is just so heartbreaking. How could they be this bad?

Read a book. That's what I do. It's better than watching crappy baseball.

Rios hit a hanger a mile.

really should pick up some new lit.

I just finished a book about Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. Now I'm starting a book about the 1999 USWNT. After that, I'm reading a book about the negro baseball leagues.

As for reading I suggest Sox and the City, and Veeck as in Wreck.

And figures Sox can beat Minnesota when the pressure is off.

Right? If these games mattered the Twins would of won all three so far. If you had told me in April the Sox would at least split the season series with the Twins, I would of guaranteed you the Sox win the division.

Definitely. I'm still shocked at how bad Minnesota has been this year. Didn't see that coming at all. The injuries played a part of course, but wow. It will be an interesting off-season for them as well as for the Sox.

The Twins pitching has been horrible. 28th or 30th in the league in team ERA.

Yep. Their pitching has really tanked this year. They've got some good young players that were brought up this year, but losing Mauer and Morneau was huge for the Twins this year. Looking forward to next year and beyond, they may be facing a couple down years. Indians could be a contender and Detroit will be in the mix as well. KC has some prospects, but not enough to really compete for the division. Still wide open for the Sox to be in contention for the next few years. This organization just needs to make smart decisions and prove they want to win.
