Was taking my wife to work today and when I slowed down when the speed limit changed a stupid **** hit me. I was in my F350 and it has a heavy duty hitch so no damage to it. His car didn't do so well. His excuse was that he wasn't paying attention. When he said that I went off and the pussy jumped in his car and locked the doors. When I told the cop that he started laughing and gave the guy a ticket. Fucking stupid people. Now I have a sore neck. At least my wife is ok. If I had been driving my F150 I would be in jail right now because I would have kicked his ass.

I drive 90 miles a day round trip to work. It's mostly expressway. Trust me, I know where you're coming from. Too many fucking people have no clue how to drive. I had someone STOP, on the expressway, to let someone in a lane. We were doing almost 70 mph.

Hell, last week, some lady lost control and rocked the center divider. It's in my lane about two cars in front of me. Dude in front of me stops, and tries to fucking reverse to go around the fucked up car. I mean, he has no room to reverse, and I'm not sure if he was expecting me to reverse, because I couldn't. I pulled over to make sure everyone was ok. So in the last 3 weeks, I've had a person stop, and another person try to reverse, on the expressway.

I see some funny shit though too. One jackass was in the turn lane, and when the light turned green, he took off and went straight, cutting off the car next to him, who was a cop. It wasn't even an unmarked, it was a plain old police cruiser. Cop had his cherries on before he even started moving.

Another one, which happened to be at the same intersection, was some dickfuck pulls out too far in the turn lane, then reverses to avoid getting hit. Light turns green, and they reverse right into the car behind them. I laughed so fucking hard.

Like once a month or every other month, I will get stopped at a light on Lagrange road.... and we will wait, and our turn light will turn green, and someone in one of the 3 non-turn lanes will see green and just go thru the Red light. Sometimes they just go and no one is turning from the opposing side and they make it fine. Sometimes they go and realize their mistake and then stop in the middle of the intersection. Sometimes they go and nearly hit the opposing turn lane cars and slam on their brakes.

I presume these people are texting and driving, then vaguely see green and gun it before looking up fully.

It is embarrassing to me that they have a driver's license.

EDIT: I should add for context... construction on Lagrange road means the temporary lights are up, so every light sequence the turn lights go on for their 15-20 seconds regardless of whether people are turning or not and both sides' non-turn lanes have to sit at a Red light for 15-20 seconds waiting for it to turn. Hence how the opposing left turn may not have people but we are still sitting at a Red light.

I'm glad my job is right next to the on/off ramp, I do minimal stop/go until I get off 394. There was a huge accident on 294 right by the I-80 exit on my way home this morning. I guess a semi flipped. I wasn't even moving, so I ended up having to backtrack west on I-80 and go through Chicago Heights today. Pain in the fucking ass.

I was in the market for a new vehicle about 2 years ago. I never ended up pulling the trigger because I'm a cheap ass. In the past year, my car has been rear ended and hit from the side basically totaling it. Neither time my fault. So now I drive a 'totaled' piece of shit that mechanically runs like a champ just a bunch of cosmetic damage. I'm not sure I'm every going to buy a nice new vehicle because of dumbass drivers. The only thing that will happen is your car will get hit and will depreciate in value quicker then you can take a piss.

I've been hit 5 times in the last 3 years. Twice by clients. One drove off immediately. (I assume no insurance.) One I turned the claim in and just kept the money. The other I felt so bad for her I just let her go.

I'm apparently a magnet for shitty drivers so I feel your pain. Personally I don't think it's worth it to "go off" on people though. You never know when you're gonna say the wrong thing to some freak with anger management problems and a CHL.

The drivers in Albuquerque are a special sort of stupid. You have to be on your toes around here because you are usually driving with drunks, druggies, and the worst of all people playing on their fucking phones. I want to get an Air horn installed just for those mouth breathers.

My last three months has had two accidents.... Neither time was I even in my vehicle. One a person backed into my front bumper in a gas station and drove away in front of about 20 people the second happened in the mall parking lot when I came out to my truck there was a nice dent in the passenger rear quarter panel. No note or anything.

Yes I drive a full size pickup, but I am sure to park carefully centered between the lines and people just apparently do not give a ****.

Just yesterday heading South on the Stevenson some toyota in the right lane tried to merge into a box truck. The back deck off the truck has that angular ladder on the sides. Well, the guy still wasn't paying attention and got his driver side mirror into those stairs. He lost a mirror almost as quickly as he got it in there. That finally woke the Toyota driver up. I was ready to pull over and support the truck driver but I don't think he even noticed and the Toyota guy never pulled over either.

People are stupid, people make mistakes. Be thankful, you and your wife are alive and o.k.; it could have been much, much worse. Sure you might have kicked his ass or gotten your ass kicked. You never know who is packing heat these days so keeping your cool and not resorting to violence would probably be a better decision.
