Sorry for my absence, but I just got a new job and moved back to the homeland, Chitown. Im sure you all missed me ;)

Tonight's game against the Bucks was amazing because of DRose's rediculous night and last second shot, but the only reason it came down to that was Boozer! I cant stand watching him play defense anymore! Gooden and Ilyasova lit him up AAAAALLLLL night. It was disgusting. He cant switch, move his feet or contest shots. Why did he play 28 minutes tonight? Thibs needs to grow some balls and bench him, not start him, or GarPax needs to trade him.

But thats besides that point. With Rip being as fragile as a house of cards there is no counting on him in the playoffs. Watson has had his injuries this season as well, its time to man up and trade for Monte Ellis. Because if we dont have either of those two or both in the playoffs and Rose gets into foul trouble, there is absolutely no way we win a championship if JL3 is playing significant minutes.

Ellis would fill so many holes within our backcourt. He can create his own shot, bring the ball up when needed, provide some more outside shooting, and even provide some scoring with the second unit.

I would absolutely hate to lose Noah at this point because he is playing so GarPax may have to get creative, add a third or fourth team to get it done. And if you can get rid of Boozer somehow in the process, they would be considered saints in Chicago.

Would the Warriors ever consider

Boozer, Korver and Brewer for Ellis and Biedrins

Probably not, but it works. Boozer is a better scorer than Biedrins and just as overpaid. Korver fits perfectly in GS run and gun offense and Brewer is a young, affordable, developing guard that Mark Jackson would love

You would trade Boozer,Korver and Brewer for Elis?Really?I mean...Really?

You have DRose in your team man. That would be the worst move in the history of the game.

I mean he can't play as a PG,as a SG he is not even close to Korver and Brewer combined and you will lose one of the best PF in the league with all his weakness.

If you want to make a trade with Warriors then we should look in David Lee.There is nobody than him there that suits us.

Ben Gordon is useless and even Mario Chalmers can light him up while Wade lights up Rose and gets him into foul trouble. Ellis isn't a good defender but he's better than Ben Gordon on offense at least and can get some steals.

Come on, Korver did nothing tonight. All he is good for is spreading the floor. He also cant play a lick of defense even though it has improved. Brewer is the exact opposite. What does he give you on the offensive end? Yes, he has improved this year but nothing you can count on. If they were one player I wouldnt be talking about trading for Ellis. But they are not. Would Ellis have to make an adjustment to play next to Rose. Of course, but I think to play with a winner you make those changes (I guess unless your name is Dwight Howard and your a ****** for not making the only logical choice when choosing what team you want to play for next)

It is a dumb conversation because the Warriors want nothing to do with Boozer when they already have David Lee. Name some three-way trades that are halfway realistic.

So what Elis did tonight?Seriously now you would trade every player who don't play well in one game the time your team is 1st in the league?

Korver is top10 SG in 3pt made this year.
Boozer is top10 PF in rebounds this year.
And Brewer is Brewer. He is the good guy who dies in the court for the team night in and night out.

And you would trade them all for a useless player in our rotation that leave us without a capable to score points PF?

Stop thinking our regular season record has anything to do with beating the Heat in a 7 game series. The only thing that accomplishes is an extra game at home.

Its fun to watch now, but it all comes down to beating one team, the Heat.

Im not saying you could trade Boozer, he may be untradeable, but there are a lot of dumb GMs out there. A 3 way trade with the Celtics could be interesting if you could get Ray Allen or Ellis. Id be fine with either. Ray would also make more sense coming to Chicago and Ellis going to the C's because they would get younger and Rondo would have another great offensive SG to pass to

So you believe that losing one big body and some decent team players for the skinny and short Monta Elis would be the key to take down the heat MONSTERS?

Of course our regular season record has something to say.

Last thing I will say and won't participate any more in this hilarious thread:

Boozer 15.1PPG 8,2RPG 1,7APG
Korver 7.5PPG 2,3RPG 1,5APG
Brewer 7.8PPG 3,3RPG 1,9APG
Combined:30,4PPG 13,8RPG 5,1APG

Monta Ellis 22.2PPG 3,5RPG 5,9APG

You believe that losing 10RPG and 8PPG would be the key to beat the heat?

Ugh, you are a moron so Im glad you wont be responding to this. You cant look at combined numbers because if that trade were to happen everyone's numbers would change. Taj's numbers would obviously seriously increase because of playing time, Ellis's numbers would change being in a different offense and Rip and Watson would play a little different roles. With Boozer out of the lineup your defense gets much better throughout the game. The Bulls would probably force more turnovers as Ellis plays more aggressive in the passing lanes. Teams change when trades are made. We arent simming the rest of the season like you do in a videogame

So if Ellis isnt the answer, anyone think Ilyasova makes a difference? Being in Wisconsin for the last few years, I have been impressed with his game. Has an outside shot that goes all the way to 3 point range, a great rebounder and would add depth to the front court. With Omar and Taj struggling for the last 10-15 games or so he may be a welcome surprise. I think you could get him for cheap as well. A player and a pick would do it

Yes I believe that Ilyasova would be a great addition to our bench.I am saying this for a long time ago when we could trade him for a pick and his team would be satisfied. We definitely need strong rebounders combined with scoring ability to beat the heat.

But I don't believe that they will let this player cheap. They can have very good offers after his monstrous performances lately.

Elis would shorten the team. And of course the stats won't be as good as the combined of Boozer,Brewer and Korver. It would be worse. With only one PF in the lineup and a PF that can't be so great threat in scoring for the opponents,we will drop from the #1 in rebounding immediately and rebounds is the first fundamental thing in basketball. Not any chance against Miami's beasts without a good rebounding team.
