Problem is that we've needed those FA and extended guys that haven't performed to their contracts. In the case of Leno, he signed a year early as a projection. Trevathan instead of Kwiat, etc.
What's interesting is that the Raiders have swapped DCs and Kwiat is now playing under Marinelli. He wouldn't be my 1st choice as a C2 MLB. Would probably be optimized as a Will in a C2 is that becomes the primary scheme.
