If a game was held in Rockford this year to help raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and honor TBird, how many of you guys would be in for it?

At this time, I don't have many details other than the Ice Hogs are interested in discussing this with me and I'd like to have some idea of the interest going in.

Like I have said, I don't care where it is being held, I will be there to do my impression of a traffic cone.

However, if there can be some corporate interest, be it from businesses or from a pro hockey team, go for it. the more high profile the better for the cause.

Yeah like Jako, I'd prefer it to be in chicago for distance reasons, but other than that I don't care, what ever is best for the cause. I really wan to make it to this this year, barring unforseen conflicts, I'm in. It's a matter of figuring out if I can get on the ice somehow.I should say, for these reasons I did not vote either way cause it wouldn't be accurate.

I will say this....anyone concerned about distance, I will try to accommodate them. Either by driving, or arranging transport as best I can. If there are out of towners, I could put a few up for the night.

It was more, I've never been to rockford, and new things are scary and confusing.

To expand a bit further on what Klem stated, the discussion with the IceHogs at this point would involve playing on the MetroCentre ice (where the IceHogs play) and then having a suite or two for the IceHogs game thereafter.

I also would like to get the Chicago affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network involved. This has the potential to make a difference, but we need your participation.

Well, I'm not saying I'm anything or anyone, but I'm happy to do anything I can to help...

IF timing comes down in a good spot for me I would travel to attend, granted the Navy allows it.

As long as it's not within my shooting schedule-- I'd like to attend to document/film it.

If you're talking a fall schedule I can make it.

That is amazing. Like I said, I am in, and my Pops would more then likely play as well. I will also ask some friends outside of here to see if the want to play.
