  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Small government, my dick.

Lost in the fine print is the law requiring "goose-stepping" lessons for all 5th graders.

Who defines "distressing images"? Anyone can claim anything is distressing. A picture of Alex Burrows highly distresses me.

Yeah this law will last about the amount of time it takes to be brought before the courts. Has the Governor read the bill of rights?

PETA members could find a picture of a deerskin purse or someone seating a hamburger distressing. I just see people fighting this from all ends.

Yeah or some little old lady could get freaked out by a girl with her stomach showing or a guy with baggy pants. This is an invitation for nutbars to file charges against people.

Not much information as to what is in the actual bill, but there is a chance that this could be more for the leverage in Interwebs stalking cases or crimes. But yea this one could potentially be very much abused.

Or, based on some recent an old the news, a protection bill for the politicians.....

This is ridiculous. I wish the religious zealots would get out of the Republican Party. I miss you, Barry Goldwater.

Well thank god I don't live in Tennessee or I would be a lifer in prison.

Censorship at it's best here and censorship without definition. For those in the arts in Tennessee laws such as this are nothing more than a form of fascism.

But as I stated in another thread I am making all issues an issue of religion..thus...I blame the Jehovah Witnesses.

I believe that all Tennesseeans find the imagery on http://www.billhaslam.com to be highly distressing and should sue the site, and it's owners for causing the entire state to be distressed. And it is impossible to prove that the images on that site are not distressing to someone. If I tell you they distress me, how are you going to prove they aren't.

Mentioning that link here has distressed me.
