He's not a shooter, but if he spent some time he may improve his shooting. he's still young. The guy has what we need. A second ball handler that may be able to create his own offense/create for others. I've never seen him play but his stat line for this year has been impressive.

The Nets have assigned forward Terrence Williams to their NBA Development League affiliate in Springfield, Mass.

New Jersey general manager Billy King announced the move on Friday, saying the second-year player will benefit from playing for the Springfield Armor.

The Nets put Williams on the inactive list Tuesday for "repeatedly violating team policy."

New Jersey drafted Williams with the 11th overall pick in 2009.

"I feel the best course of action for Terrence and the team at this time is for him to play in the D-League," King said.

"He is currently on the inactive list and this move will allow him to play until he is once again placed on the active list. There is no timetable on his return to the active list, and Terrence's future status will be addressed at the appropriate time."

the one game that he played significant minutes that stands out according to his stat line is one where he scored 7 pts, 9 assists, 7 rebounds. He didn't score, but he did a lot of good things. The other game he had 17 pts with 7-16 shooting 5 assists and 5 turnovers.

I don't know why they would send this guy to the d league. I don't think he's worth trading taj, so maybe they'd settle for a 1st rounder or something.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Taj at this point is worth FAR more than Williams. Teams with frontcourt needs beg for a guy like Taj. It's silly to even mention his name in this scenario. But all that aside, Williams is being sent there for disciplinary purposes. His game would help us no doubt and it gives us yet another SG, but I'm not sure his character would fit with what the Bulls FO likes.

Well if it means anything. i'm watching the bobcats game on espn 3, and they're just awful. Tyrus thomas looks like their best prospect. hopefully we should get a decent pick from that trade.

a chance ok for taj gtfo

i dont think anyone wants to trade taj. If he's in the d league, maybe they might seriously consider a draft pick or two. I mean really how high the bulls draft picks be for the next two years? Early 20's? Late teens? We wont strike gold twice with taj gibson.

I like the idea, he is a guy who in skill set is possibly a nice fit, he's kind of a guy who is supposed to be the Iguodala type SG/SF who can't shoot but can score a bit, defend a bit, pass a bit.

The problem is:
a) Right now he's not even a poor man's Iguodala, he's a homeless man's Iguodala
b) He's supposedly a headcase, and hence being sent to D league
c) He couldn't even get a huge amount of playing time on a bad team, so where do we find time for him? I think he'd have the same problem as JJ.

Not really sure he can help us.
