Another snorefest... can't wait.

At least we have the Buffalo game to look forward too where Scott will hopefully pummel someone.

Like I said... take Keith or Seabrook, blindfold them and make them skate backwards through an obstacle course and they'll still skate faster/better than Scott does skating forward.

Put Scott on the 4th line and its going to be a different story out there. He ain't gonna be good but hes not gonna be as mad as he's been on D.

I'm not sure it matters where he's playing or what line/pairing he's on, he doesn't go backwards well. LOL!

The dude has fallen down, with little or no contact at least 10 times in the last four games. That's not losing an edge, it's falling down. hahaha! I'm sorry but it's almost not even funny any more.

You ever hear of "skitching". It's when in the snow you grab onto a car bumper and slide down the street behind the car. Scott almost did that yesterday at the blue line near the penalty box. I almost imagined the Pred just skating down the ice, dragging him and his fallen down, hooked stick, right along with him.

There was a play in the 3rd in Buffalo where Scott was just standing on the Hawks side of the blue line. A buffalo player skated right into him, Scott didn't move. The Buffalo player bit the dust. That's a Pylon.

I keep hoping to see something from him but game after game after game he's continuously gotten worse. I'm not really sure limited minutes would help at this point. It just might limit some of the falling down. BUT, he'll eventually have to skate backwards!!!

Like I was saying I don't care what position he's in if he can't skate backwards he's not going to be good.

I can't remember a player we've had recently thats just completely wiped out on his own, more than him. I know the blue line jumps out once in awhile but holy crap it is UNDER the ICE!

He's slowly getting into the Cullimore Class.

But would Cullimore pound Kaleta into oblivion on Saturday as much as Scott?

TRICK QUESTION... Kaleta would run and hide behind a ref whether it was Kane or Scott that went after him.

I know Scott is no good unless against goons. I just find it hilarious that people have to rail the guy because he's playing a position he shouldn't be playing because of a questionable hit by one of our top 4 and an injury to another top defenceman.

He has to be the slowest Dman I've seen in a looooong time...

I think any number of Hawks would destroy Kaleta. He's a coward on skates. Dowell, Bickell, Skille, Brouwer, Seabrook.

I'm railing the guy because his hockey skills are clearly lacking. If he can not add to the team in any other way than when there's a possible situation with retribution or protection, he needs to go.

Stop being blind. He's gotten worse every game he's been on the ice. He's already lost one game. Could have very well lost another with the dumb clearing during the waning minutes in Buffalo. I can tolerate Boynton because at least he can skate. No one is railing him for playing out of position. It doesnt matter WHAT POSITION he plays if he can't skate and keep up.

You honestly think he could even keep up with our 4th line? Dowell and Stalberg? Really? That line is actually pretty decent and Scott would really **** it up.

I think people rail him because he probably shouldn't even be in the NHL, and most of us have probably played against men's league players that are better defensemen... He's just bad. He's Koci, playing defense, but he can fight.

Him playing forward is LAUGHABLE. We have 20 forwards that are better than him in the organization.

I think he wouldn't have had to embarrass hockey by him skating backwards and would have kept up way better with the 4th line rather than needing to drop back on D for 10 minutes a game (3-4 minutes more than he should be on the ice at any position).

He'd be falling down going forward to try and keep up with the other two on the line. Look I love the thought of having a tuff guy out there. But not if he's a detriment no matter where he plays. Come on.

He's going to get some more time, hopefully he can mysteriously get better. I have my doubts.

Stu, you keep mentioning Scotts fighting ability, but the fact is he hasn't done anything in that regard yet.

You really think Nashville was scared of Scott when they ran Kane hard into the boards and manhandled the kid all night? Where was Scott then?

Well, Turco is back in net, hopefully we have the lines set that will match well and shut down Nash. after that, the Hawks won't have a problem with the Jackets.

I know Scott's the whipping boy right now and I'm certainly no huge fan of him as a regular 5-6th defenseman, but after 4 games the big oaf is +1, with other plus players being Hossa, Kopecky and Toews. Meanwhile the rest of the team is even or minus. Kane's minus 5 particularly is glaring. Perhaps the rest of the forward lines should start back checking/forechecking better?

Regardless, just win tonight.

Lets Go Hawks!

Why would Scott fight when we're already depleted defensively (especially considering how close all of the games have been)?

He shouldn't even have been dressed for any of the first four games but due to circumstances out of HIS control he was forced to step in on defense and we all see how that's going.

Also, he fought in the pre-season.
