Hope Raanta gets the start. Any word on Bickel or Hossa?

Waiting for the return of our assassin, #81 is missed far too much when he is out of the lineup.

We need to play our game and stop with all these boneheaded plays in our own zone.

Well this is a big opportunity for him. Judging from what those who have seen him in Rockford are saying, I am hoping for the best. Konroyd mentioned twice on a 2 on 1 save Raanta made that he looked great "staying deep in the net"...I'm no Stephen Waite, but deep in you net will get you burned in this league.

I remember when ever we would finally solve 7oungo, he would eventually just be cowering deep in the net. I hope to see some confidence from Raanta tonight, and a win.

Raanta had a lot of wanderlust in Rockford, and he doesn't have the size and range to get back in the event the puck goes across the ice. He needs to learn (like Crawford did) to keep his net. If he's a little too deep now, it's just him compensating.

Twitter lied this morning apparently.

Crawford was first off the ice at morning skate.

Good game for the Team D to get their bearings again, rather than a trial by fire.

Q better have a cattle prod up Keith and Seabs' chocolate puckers. I'm hoping for a performance from them like they had against the Sharks.
