I have a feeling the Hawks are going 1-1-0 this weekend. I would prefer them to beat the Kings if that is the case.

Hawks lose 3-2.

That idiot still loves the Leafs. He has Kessel/JVR and Lupul on his fantasy team this year.

Why anyone would want Lupul on their team is beyond me. I haven't seen a guy get injured like that consistently since Kerry Wood.

If Simpson plays this weekend, I'd suit Raanta for the King's game.

I think we're more likely to have a buttload :eek:rcs-buttshake: of goals againt the Leafs than the the Kings, though a buttload of goals can't go on forever (butt a dream can).

Don't talk about the penalty kill in here or anything else for that matter per Stu Grimson.

We want to keep the thread to about 20-25 posts, most containing Grimson posting to himself.

In general, or for the Leafs game, which is the topic of this thread.

I'd say start Simspon tonight.... If anything, we don't really give up any points in the West if we lost this one. Put Raanta in against the Kings. I see this one going to OT for some weird reason, but still a loss. Likely 4-3 in OT, but 1-0-1 isn't a bad weekend record, either.

The Leafs are horrible, they're on pace to give up a record amount of shots against this season and have starting spiraling down the shitter once again after their "promising" start. Combine that with a puck possession team like the Hawks and it's a recipe for disaster. Unless Simpson is absolutely horrible if he starts, or Reimer/Bernier are incredible, I see the Hawks thoroughly dominating the Maple Leafs just like last time.
