Hawks win 4-1. Ovechkin scores the best goal ever in existence for the Caps and it gives me 69 points.

Remaining games kind of meaningless as far as central division. I think I read they will start the playoffs as a road team regardless due to the seeding based on conference standings?

No injuries please and thank you

Wouldn't mind seeing some guys get some rest tonight--plus it gives less chance that Ovechkin of the Wide Stance can do any damage.

I think it is time for Ovechkin to move on from Washington. He is unbelievable, but he is above their organization at this point. The tapes of him coasting down the ice and players hustle past and score have to be bone chilling if you are a Caps fan. He is their captain, and I am not sure if there is a worse situation for any coach or young prospect coming up in the system.

When they tried sitting him two years ago it got Boudreau fired, Boudreau has gone on an made a great team out of very similar talent, also helps that Getzlaf hustles and acts like a captain. I predict another coaching change in Washington in the next year or so and feel bad for Oates, the situation looks toxic in Washington.

Which of these games does Raanta get? I'm sure Ovi would love to run his numbers up a little more.

Maybe Ovechkin shouldn't be the captain? Doesn't mean he is above the Caps organization. They aren't built well depth wise.
