To the 2015 Cubs,
Thank you for sparking my love of baseball again. I grew up with the Cubs. Have fond memories of watching games on WGN with my dad, Harry Caray waving at me from his limo, flicking peanut shells from the upper deck onto the fans below, Ryno, Hawk, listening to the Cubs during my lunch break at high school, getting tossed from Wrigley on Sammy Sosa day.... the memories go on and on.
These last several years my love for the game had gone away. I never truly got over 2003. I simply couldn't take all the losing.
Thank you 2015 Cubs for bringing me back. I'd forgotten how much fun the game can be.
