My son is heading up to see the King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard concert tonight up in the Lincoln Park area at the Aragon Ballroom...
Was wondering if anybody has been there and trying to find out a little bit about the venue. I know the area is pleasant but I know parking in the city can be a hassle.

you can find street parking but I would park south of Wilson. or at least west of Broadway on Wilson. Uptown has a lot of crazy street people brah

I saw King Diamond there many years ago. All I can say is WOW!

A few other bands are playing but the King Gizzard are headlining. As many concerts I have seen not 1 at that venue.

Because of general admission it was known as the Aragon Brawlroom. Always preferred the Uptown Theater, same neighborhood, better acoustics, has seats, better overall venue. It's supposed to be getting renovated, I hope it reopens, some of my favorite concerts were there, lot's of Zappa.

This bad music video for a bad song was shot there in 2017, it doesn't look as bad as I expected. Just turn the sound down.

At one point they turned off the heat and the pipes burst and flooded the place, it sounded like a shit show. But now this is happening.

My son and his friends had a great time and got to meet the singer of KGAWL after the show. Thanks to all for the info they had no problem finding parking.

I saw danzig at aragon in the 90s. One of the best places for a concert.

I saw king at the vic theater. that was a kickass concert as well.
