Thornton hasn't been that bad. He's had some rough outings, but he's not bad and he's a key veteran presence in the pen.

Not like anyone the Sox have down in AAA is going to do much better and they need veteran. Crain has been better lately and I wouldn't mind seeing him in those situations though.
