The cap cuts are reminding me of "Jerry Angelo's woodchipper"

I remember when Jerry Angelo first took the job, how he took the axe to a TON of players on the roster.

The score had a running joke with "Jerry Angelo's woodchipper" and would run a woodchipper soundbyte whenever a player was cut.


This is not quite that bad, but the cap cuts have me feeling nostalgic.

Anyway, these cap cuts were obvious, as once Hicks is traded or cut, between him and Fuller we will save 21 Million. That will put the Bears just shy of 14 Million under the cap. I think Leno Jr will happen after the draft, as I think the Bears will draft a Left Tackle, and will have 20 million under.

Good Player never seemed like he really felt respected but we can get good corner play for less
