As the Rams took a sound beating from Chip's new team, one had to wonder why Jared Goff was in street clothes as the worst starting QB in the NFL failed to lead his team to any points. Watching the Rams play as bad as they did, 2 obvious questions come to mind. Why is Jeff Fisher still employed as HC and how bad is Jared Goff that he can't beat out Case Keenum or even Sean Mannion for that matter?

In a week in which we saw #2 pick, Carson Wentz, beat out Chase Daniel to become the first rookie QB in Eagles history to start their season opening game, how is it the #1 pick, Jared Goff, has been deemed not even worthy to backup a hack like Case Keenum?

yea...the play of Keenum was so bad yesterday that I don't know how bad Goff has to be in order to not even be active. You might as well just throw him in there so he can sink and swim

The Goff situation is odd but Fisher was also the coach that sat Steve McNair until November after taking him #3 overall, even at one point giving Will Furrer(?!) a start instead of playing McNair.

Old habits die hard?
