Hey, Doug,

Do we get an over/under on how many newspapers make lame jokes about Philly laying an egg on Easter?

That seems too difficult to calculate. I have no idea how to handicap it, but I'd go over/under 2.5. If we could include TV guys I bet it'd be way higher.

Took a 55pt effort from Wade, and 28/16 from Beasley. Beasley has been really good the last few games he's been starting.

Yeah, I realize it would be pretty unrealistic -

Call it my lame attempt at making a lame joke slightly funnier by mocking it's lameness, or something like that. :p

I'm just excited Philly actually lost! Which is funny in and of itself, since I'm not really sure I like the Bulls moving up in the standings matchup-wise....

The fact that we aren't going to get the 5 seed is too bad because a matchup with the Hawks was the only matchup in which I would give us a 40%+ chance of winning. Any other matchup we're looking at being satisfied with "making some noise." That said, we need to really zero in on tomorrow's game. Catching Miami was a longshot all the way. But think about how huge those two heartbreaking losses turned out to be? Thabo's inbound and Salmons turnover are looming large right about now.

We are still alive for the 6th seed, Philly just lost to Toronto. And we are offically tied for 6th but lose the tiebreaker. Tomorrow is must win.

Yeah, Beasley's going to be a superstar, as I predicted. Why couldn't Spoelstra continue his bad coaching and keep Beasley on the bench? Miami would be a near 50 win team if they played Beasley all year.

I think this will go down probably in the end, as being seen like a who would you rather have, Kobe Bryant or Dwyane Wade type of question in regards to Rose/Beasley.

If the Heat were really willing to trade Michael Beasley for Amare Stoudemire, which I don't think was the case, then shame on Steve Kerr for not taking that trade.
