Pitching falls apart.

Pitching is probably the last thing I'm worried about on this team. I've got their ability to consistently catch the ball and then their ability to score runs far, far ahead of that.

Believing Rollins can hold down the fort till Anderson is ready....they would've been better off keeping Ramirez.

The back of the rotation is quite a concern as I highlighted in my piece a week or so ago on the site. Danks is what he is and if Latos can't get it done there isn't much left behind them. Johnson and Turner looked awful this spring so that leaves Fulmer as the best possible option. This is probably why they were mentioned in signing the recently released Miguel Gonzalez.

The lack of a left handed hitting middle of the order slugger is the biggest flaw of the team.

You guys kinda missed the point. The plan is obviously pitching. I said pitching falls apart.

You started harping about the pitching being fine.

I know. It's the only thing that's fine, and as great as it looked first time through, like a 4 that could carry the Sox for sure, my concern is it falls apart, then doom.

Lawrie is a huge plus. Energy and professionalism.

We are closer than I thought, which makes the payroll that much more inexcusable

No they wouldn't. They have Saladino and Sanchez to take over if necessary.
