...who does Toews hand it off to first?

I think the safe bet is Handzus, but I'm going to live dangerously and say Stalberg.

Anyone else venture a guess?

Seabrook or Sharp. Zeus is a newcomer and hasn't been a long enough presence.

Stalberg ? no

Interesting take, but recent history would say otherwise as when they last won the Cup it was Hossa who got sloppy seconds, and that was his first season with the Hawks as well.

My favorite teams
 1. Chicago White Sox
 1. Chicago Fire
 1. Chicago Bears
 1. Chicago Blackhawks
Handzus is a good guess. Mayers won't be in uniform, otherwise I'd say him.

It'd be interesting if Crawford gets it after Toews, though.

We'll find out on Monday.

Are you sure that Mayers wouldn't be dressed? Bursih was dressed in his uni afterwards and didn't play, if my memory serves me well.

I'd compare it to Stu's thread about the Hawks/Bruins cup finals before we had finished of the Kings.

Variable's raison d'etre is that there's no such thing as "bad hockey karma" or any supernatural forces involved with the game at all, and that you nor I have anything to do with the outcome of any game.

This but also it was actually an honest question. Kind of like half joke, half actual question. Not trying to stir anything up and yes I'm confident enough to believe that the Hawks can win the Cup. Remember, I'm not the guy saying the only way the Hawks get beat is by the Hawks. That's more confidence/arrogance than anything I've said. I was just wondering, if they were to win, who would it be? I think it would be Handzus because of his time in the league, wouldn't have anything to do with a skill level of a player. But again, that's the easy answer, so that's why I went with his best bud Stalberg.

Calm down guys, this changes nothing. The same thing as guessing game winners in OT for both teams or predicting..... anything. It has no bearing whatsoever. Just because some don't like it, doesn't mean it's "trolling". The degree that people take this weird voodoo shit seriously is more ridiculous than any stance on anything in hockey. No need to be scared. It's just words on the internet.

I'm just going to change the thread title to "if"... that's where the issue lies. I have no problem with the thought, just the way it was worded comes off, well... awfully arrogant. Thus spurs a bunch of OT posts.

If I had to pick I'd go with Corey or Bickell. Handzus is a good candidate too. I'd just like to see Zeus so Jako can blow a gasket.
