Kicking this off with some Borderlands 2 info, Game Informer will have some info on it soon, but here are some tidbits.

- Co-op will probably be 4 players
- Vehicles will have variety
- One vehicle: Bandit Technical
- One vehicle will have four seats
- Eridium – enhance weapons
- Eridium is a form of currency
- Salvador: Gunzerker, can dual-wield with any weapon
- Vault Hunters from the first game will be NPCs
- Bandits can access their own type of weaponry
- Unique styling, color, personality for each manufacturer
- Custom decals/enhancements for weapons
- More responsive enemies, more varied, better AI, improvement so that they interact with each other better
- NPCs will also be improved, will move around more
- Interacting dialogue for players
- Skill tree will be similar to the first game (3 branch system)
- Claptrap seems to be returning
- Apparently there won’t be any old weapons
- Story missions won’t be static
- Some pickups will provide temporary buffs

Some Hitman: Absolution details from Xbox World magazine-

- 47 can still dual wield pistols
- Fibre wire is confirmed to make a return (no mention of syringes yet)
- The AI will wait in ambush should you start shooting, they will no longer run towards you all at once as they did in Blood Money. Not too sure about this as they don't really go into any detail. If the AI is able to wait for you to come to them it could once again suggest a more linear level design.
- A hint that there will be a gun customisation feature, but it will be much different to BM, no longer allowing the player to max out weapons after 2 or 3 levels.
- Instinct WILL be rewarded for stealthy gameplay as well as silent kills etc. It sounds like Instinct will also be rewarded at the end of each level and carry over into the next level.

Nothing yet. Just a bunch of "GTA V was spotted on a European store's pre-order list"

I'm pretty sure Rockstar North is working on Agent, then they'll move on to GTA V. That or they split the company and part is working on Agent and the other is doing GTA V.

Nope. Nothing yet. At the beginning of the year Rockstar was talking about leftover ideas from RDR that they could use for the next installment in the Red Dead series.

Red Dead is made by Rockstar San Diego, which also makes the Midnight Club series, which we haven't had since 2008. I suppose they could always bring back the Smugglers Run series, but other than those two, and barring a new IP, Red Dead would be the only other choice for their next game.

I've wondered this too, but haven't heard anything about it. Like an open world game based in Hogwarts or something? I'm not sure how it'd work. I just don't know if there's enough lore for a big Harry Potter open world game. It works for LOTR because Tolkein has a huge backstory for everything and a huge world. With HP I guess you could go back in history to when the school was founded, or have it take place when James and Lily were in school. Or not even based in the school. I don't know, hard for me to imagine ideas for it.

I'm surprised they didn't do a turn based Harry Potter game. Something like Final Fantasy, or a better comparison, Lord of the Rings: The Third Age.

wait...is the new LOTR game a open world? It must be huge!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking of making one last Harry Potter game, open world (the burrow, hogwarts, hogsmeade, etc included) and be focused on their kids when they go to school

Not really open in the sense that you can go wherever, but the maps are supposed to be huge, so it might feel like an open world game. I'm not sure a Middle Earth open world game could work on consoles because it's just too huge. War in the North takes place only in the northern region of Middle Earth (Arnor, Rivendell, Fornost, those areas). I know before EA lost the LOTR license, they were working on a game called "The White Council" and it was supposed to be a open world game I believe. Who knows what Warner Bros. will do with the license now that they have it. They've had Lord of the Rings Online out for a while, and last year did Aragorn's Quest.

I'd love something like that. I remember Order of the Phoenix was kind of an open campus game. You couldn't go everywhere, but you could explore a lot of the castle.

Translated article, but here's the short version. Two guys have some Treyarch developers on their xbox friends list. These developers were playing a game called "Iron Wolf", which is most likely a codename for whatever game they're working on. Easy to assume this is their next Call of Duty game.

A 100% open FULL middle earth game would be absolutely sweet!

Ive never played a full LOTR game...whats a good website to look at the new game?

I hated the Goblet of Fire video game because it wasnt open world...

I would love to have a full open harry potter game too...they are always the best

"Iron Wolf" sounds alot like it would have to do with Nazi's and WWII, which I hope is true because I <3 WW2 games
