This is something I have literally been asking myselve for the passed few evenings ever sense I found out that the offence might look like something from Shanahan and also something from Green Bay which made me think how does Cohen fit into all that if he literally runs laterally most the time and doesn't turn and go north south or even northwest or northeast so let's see what the playbook beholds for him before we just go ahead and cut him and by we I mean the bears not you and I just a figure of speaking.

I am probably too young to be your brother unless your other mother and dad is having kids like 20 or more years apart but I agree perfectly with you that he is like a Icarus and his legs are now too melted to be as good as he ever was and never will be.

I saw a video of him (Thanksgiving time, maybe?). He had some kind of a limp or something. His injury obviously took a lot longer than expected to recover from.
Will we see the true Tarik Cohen back? Doubtful. He can be fast, maybe, but the moves he made, ala the human joystick, I think that is probably gone. He will never be the same.

Anyway, I can't help but identify a parallel between the sunward trajectories of Nagy and Cohen. Once Cohen was out, no more Willy Wonkas or Flibbertygibbit gadgets plays (other than the shovel passes).
