  1. North Carolina Tar Heels
Just saw the highlights and such for the game. Looked like a freak play where he stepped on Crawford.

Any word on if it's severe or not?

No word really but I don't think it's severe at all. Didn't look that bad and his post game comments gave me reassurance that he'll play wed.

My only concern is how will this effect his speed/explosiveness? We need Rose at 100% if we want to continue winning series.

I think he will be fine for game 2. The way he walked away from the injury right after it happened showed he could walk on it. If rose cant go... were down 0-2

That's a big concern because this is a re-injury, so to speak. He'll play because it's the playoffs. But Rose's whole game is the threat of his explosive drive and how that opens everything up. If he comes out in the 1st Half tomorrow, is settling for jump shots and Atlanta doesn't have to double-team him then the Bulls are in major trouble...

Game 2 is a must-win situation. If they lose the next game, the series is over and that's almost indefinite.

Thats basically a fact. Not only is being down 0-2 damn unlikely to come back from but losing both games at home?

This needs to be a wake up call to guys like Boozer who has looked uninterested on defense. To guys on the bench mob and Bogans that they have to make the most out of their minutes.

He'll perform simply because it's the playoffs. But Rose's complete match will be the risk of his explosive generate and how that opens anything up. If he arrives out within the 1st Half tomorrow, is settling for leap shots and Atlanta doesn't need to double-team him then the Bulls are in big trouble...

I thought Boozer didn't look terrible like he did against Indy but they need more than 14/8 from him. It's the playoffs, he has to elevate his game.

We need 20+/10+ from Boozer and we know he is capable of it (when healthy), but I'll take 14/8 over what we have been getting from him lately. As long as Deng continues to play at a high level and we get good performances from Noah, Korver and Bogans (I can't believe I just said "Bogans"), then that should be enough to win.

I'm more worried about Rose's ankle. We need to see the MVP Rose tonight.

There was that stretch where he looked like the Boozer pre-ASG. Back to back possessions he backed a guy down and got a strong bucket. Then on the next one he hit the mid range J. Then there was that monster dunk later on that really surprised me. Supposedly his turf toe started to feel better as the game went on. So thats definitely encouraging moving forward. That was his best stretch thus far in the playoffs. Hopefully we can get more of that from him, from beginning to end. If we can, Miami's road to the finals wont be as easy as its been said to be.
