from last night's game notes (thank you 300 Level):
KANE IS ABLE
PATRICK KANE collected a pair of primary assists, including a helper on the GWG, for his 19th multi-point effort of the year.
The Blackhawks are 16-1-2 this year when KANE records a multi-point game. Over the course of his four-year NHL career, the team is 58-8-10 on nights he registers a multi-point effort.
KANE has registered 67 points (25G, 42A) in 66 games this season. He is one of just 14 point-per-game players in the NHL this year(min. 2 games played).
KANE is now one of just five NHL players (Ovechkin, Perry, D. Sedin, St. Louis) to register at least 25 goals and 40 assists in each ofthe last three seasons.
The 22-year old KANE has recorded 297 points (101G, 196A) in 310 career regular-season games. Over the last 20 years, only sevenplayers in the NHL have posted more points before turning 23 (Crosby, Jagr, Lindros, Sundin, Ovechkin, Malkin, Kovalchuk). KANE will turn 23 on Nov. 19.
THIS IS YOUR CAPTAIN SPEAKING
JONATHAN TOEWS opened the scoring on Monday in Detroit with his 31st goal of the season. He now has at least one point in 21 ofhis last 26 games, and 37 total points (14G, 23A) over that stretch.
The Winnipeg native now shares eighth in the NHL with a career-high 75 points (31G 44A) in 73 games. He is currently one of just 14 point-per-game players in the league this year.
TOEWS is one of only nine players in the NHL to register at least 25 goals and 35 assists in each of the last three seasons.
The 22-year old captain has recorded a team-high 24 multi-point efforts this season. It is the most multi-point games by a Blackhawks player since Jeremy Roenick recorded 28 during the 1993-94 season.
TOEWS shares fifth among NHL forwards with a +25 plus/minus rating this year. Since the start of the 2009-10 campaign, only three forwards have compiled a better rating than TOEWS' +47.
