Yeah, that was BS. I said it in the IGT - one of the worst flags of all time.

Agree but let's be honest, with Shithead calling plays we're kicking field goals not scoring TDs.

Danny's PI got me. I've been told all season long that's legal, until it's Brees throwing the football.

A really bad call. I thought the holding call two plays before that (can't remember if it was Shelley or Vildor) was pretty bad too.

No idea why the NFL persist with these 'all star' crews - they're almost always worse than the regular season crews who know how to communicate with each other.

We lost so badly its hard to go back to one or two plays. But yes that penalty was horrible, the PI call on Trevathan was horrible and the dropped pass by Wims was unforgivable.

And Drew Brees probably should have not pulled the ball back a couple of inches short of the goal line.

In the end, none of it really mattered a whole lot.

It was painfully obvious that the group of refs did not want to be the refs for the Super Bowl.
Worst Penalty of the Game....maybe ever

According to Hoge and Jahns podcast they stated that wims playing had a huge impact on the officiating. Basically due to his previous incident with the saints they had zero tolerance and the Bears were never given the benefit of the doubt.

And @remydat was trying to say Kmet shouldn't have done it. Done what? Toss the ball to the ref?

No he should have kept his mouth shut and moved on. I already said it was a weak penalty in my very first comment on it but I see no reason for Kmet to engage with Jenkins after a one yard gain. This team does too much talking after shitty plays and we already had two players ejected in 2 games with the Saints. Shut up and focus on actually being good at football.

You can trust even with this first hand info he wont admit he was wrong. ?

There is nothing to admit being wrong about. Again, I already called it a weak penalty and it is my subjective opinion that Bears players should not be engaging with the Saints as we have a clear discipline problem.

He wasn't penalized for talking. He was penalized for throwing the ball to the ref and the ref thinking he was trying to hit Jenkins with it.
