A lot of players, Kobe Bryant namely, are thinking about playing in China during the lockout. Big problem is coming up tomorrow and Friday...

....the Chinese Basketball Association will hold a meeting Thursday and Friday in Shenzhen in southern China, and in that meeting, the league is expected to rule on whether to allow NBA players to sign contracts with out-clauses that allow them to leave the CBA during the season if the lockout ends. The CBA is expected to ban such contracts.

Article says that FIBA allows those out-clauses, but the Chinese can still ban it.

I think it makes sense for the Chinese teams to try to ban those contracts, but really...the Chinese leagues are pretty bad. There's no way that even their best guys could do much against a team with a few good NBA players, let alone Kobe.

China's league is forgetting that pro-sports are just entertainment. If an elite player comes to your team, you can just learn from then and copy from the player, just like China does everything else in the world.

duke is playing some U23 chinese team tomorrow(also played them today
(then again im not sure who they are exactly playing) and beat them by 14... apparently they have alot of size)

not sure how the style of the game is in china, but guys like Kobe,Lebron, even some of the lesser NBA players would dominate imo

Speaking of Chinese basketball, the video of that brawl between Georgetown and a Chinese team is posted on my site. It's about time the U.S. gets involved in a batshit crazy, european style free-for-all. It didn't end well for Georgetown though, they ended up getting their asses kicked and ran off the court.

From my end of it, the Hoyas ran those guys in the crowd and had to get pulled off. Sore losers though anyway. That incident should make NBA players, who are considering playing there, think twice. They could get into a fight if they beat their team down too bad.

Since the game was in China on there home turf, I hope the Hoyas players had plenty of security leaving the game..Straight up!!!!...I guess China really hates America more than before..Barrack might need to beef up homeland security.
