I just went and seen it and I have to say it's not a bad movie. It's actually pretty good even though Michael Bay was a part of it. Definitely worth the price of admission. As a fan of the original NOES and the sequels this was a fine reboot of the movie. Jackie Earle Haley was good with his spin on Freddy. Some of his lines were a bit cheesy but it is a horror movie and he got in some good one liners. The acting was terrible by everyone else but it was a horror movie and isn't going to win any Oscars anyway. They played it out pretty well with giving a bit of a back story throughout the movie, and some shots that were done in the previous films but it still stood out on its own. If this wasn't a reboot to the franchise more people would love it then hate it for not being true to the original.

lol ^^^

That's probably why I am a Chicago fan, horror movies don't scare me at all.
