And biodegradable plastic has negative impacts on the environment as well. It's just smarter and less toxic to sort and re-use and recycle non-biodegradable plastic, but smarter might mean slightly more work.
Reusable glass > plastic/stainless/aluminum. Less leeching, tastes better.
