Pretty decent series. Started out extremely strong and slowed a bit in the middle, but a great payoff by the end.
Well acted, slowly paced, but really examines the judicial system in the country. It basically shows the court and law shows the door as it exposes the life lawyers, law enforcement, showing the grittier side of their roles in society.

What? The 80's has always been a popular generation. You dont see to many 90's parties. Things go in cycles, the kids that grew up in the 80's are now the adults making money. Its why 80's vintage is hot right now. It will be the same with the 90's very soon.

8 episodes, around 10 hours total. The finale was 1 Hour 45 mins and I believe another episode or two was 90mins.

It was good not great. I think the makers sacrificed some excitement/entertainment aspects for reality. I admire it more than love it.

They could have turned the prison story line into Oz. The Islamophobia could have been sensationalized. They could have given John Turturro's character schizophrenia instead of eczema. There are many more examples where the show could have compromised and used entertainment cliches to spice things up but chose to go with realism. I enjoyed the show and recommend it.

I haven't heard anything about another season, as either a completely new story line like True Detective or moving on with this story line. I hope they let it end here, but if they smell a dollar, they can't just let it go.
