Ok, so I don't get all horny over the draft, but I figured some of you guys do and we didn't have a draft thread. Draft is in LA and starts at 6:00 CST televised on Vs.

So, here's one...CCS style (at least I think being all official and stuff :D).

As of 2:45 cst, the Hawks have the following picks tonight: 24th and 30th.

The top two picks are a given with Hall/Seguin and they both are extremely talented.

There are rumors that there are 3-5 teams with top 15 picks that are looking to trade down. Steeger is available.

I would be all for that. If we could get a year or 2 out of production from somebody while they are still on an entry-level contract that would be nice.

I assume you are talking about Kevin Hayes. How is it a terrible pick? Maybe a bit of a reach, but I'll trust this organization. You know, they did just win us the Stanley Cup. :woot:

Definite project that'll need some time to develop but he's got some sick potential. We can afford to take some risks with the amount of talent we have in this organization both in the pros and in the minors.
