No, the thread title is not incorrect, it is how I intended it to read.
So the Governor proposes a panel to look at ways to save the state money in regards to the school system. It appears the original concept was to reduce the number of school districts which would reduce the overall cost. Only in our state would that panel come back and say it will cost more to reduce.... As far as the article goes it does not even appear any recommendations were made to lessen the financial burden to the state. A perfect example of why government running anything is a terrible idea. A private business would consolidate costs in a time of financial concern. Government in the same scenario makes excuses of why nothing can be done about it.
