Remember the good old days, when a player was simply either good or bad? The contract never really mattered, but the salary cap era has changed all that. Now, we turn around and say "_____ is overpaid" to describe 90%...

It's that we want to win championships and bulls fans want a superstar to go wit Rose, Noah, and Boozer cuz then we'd b stacked 4 years and culd no doubt put up a great or even beat the heat. Superstars usually win championships except Lebshit :D...Deng usually gets injured to and he can't really play at an up-tempo pace wit his legs not bein like wen he was younger but Deng is good but not really worth 11mil. and we want a guy who is worth his contract that is an athletic star

Deng is a good player but he doesn't really fit offensively with this group, he is overpaid and is injury prone. He just hasn't proven that he is there when you need him and I wouldn't expect a great year out of him. After playing for GB he s typically injured. I wouldn't dump him at this point because you can't really improve on him. Hopefully he doesn't cost us a key piece when it comes time to pay the LT.

Deng is 25, hes young and he can still run up-tempo.

Anyways what does any of what you wrote have to do with the title and how i agree with it? All Bulls fans hate Deng because he doesnt live up to a contract that was given to him. They hate Deng the player but yet he plays pretty good for us.

You want athletes? Heres Tyrus Thomas. Oh wait...Im tired of athletes, i want smart high IQ basketball players.

Fact is many Bulls fans completely shit on Deng and bash him. Yeah his contract holds us back but blame the FO for jumping the gun because he completely raped an aging and defenseless Heat team in the playoffs. No he cant stay healthy, no he cant consistently hit outside shots and yes he does disappear for big chunks in games but i dont see the point in hating on a 18-7 guy because he took the money that was given to him.

Deng: good player, respectful person, hard worker, good asset, etc.

Deng's Contract: :kick: (it's a freakin' kick in the nuts to the cap)

Yes, the FO has major incentive to trade him with everything I've listed above. If trading him, Gibson & picks would some how work out to get this team Melo...then I would understand the moving of him with zero doubt.

For now, he likes it in Chicago....so everything is fine. :dealwithit:

If we couldn't give him away in the summer, what makes you think he will net a top 10 player?

Cause this isn't a sign in trade for LeBron James or even Dwayne Wade. :lmao:

I never literally said this "definitely" get Carmelo Anthony on the team. I said it would be nice if it worked out that way.

What might make me think the FO can net Melo? I'm not sure. I'm not John Paxson or Gar Forman. I'm just a positive thinking fan that would love to see a trade like that work out for this team.

Til, and if, that becomes a reality. I'm happy with Luol Deng. :beerbang:
