I want to start listening to some podcasts and get away from the doldrums of sports radio and news. What are some podcasts you guys listen to that you can recommend. We can also use this as a way for others to share some interests as well.

Lex Friedman is good minus the AI stuff, which I'm not really interested in, but if you are, even better.

Startalk (Neil Degrasse Tyson) can be interesting. They get into a lot of different topics, not just space.

Joe Rogan has decent guests sometimes. You have to pick and choose more and more lately. Many have written him off but his shows can be good.


Smartless is Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett. They work well together and interview a celebrity for a quick hour. You hear things you otherwise wouldnt.

This thing of ours- Sammy the Bull Gravano details just about everything from his mafia days. riveting stuff here. He was John Gotti's underboss.


Tim Dillon- @Anytime23 already gave you this one. Dillon is great.


Ear Hustle- This one can be good. Stories about prisoners in San Quentin.

Joe Rogan's is hit-or-miss, depends on the guest. (Oh yay another bow hunting dude!)

Spotify has, honestly, too many podcasts.

I've sampled some podcasts where I couldn't even (Dating Kinda Sucks)
