I don't think Trubisky is as bad as Nagy taught him to be. I also think Trubisky would've had a worse game than Fields if he was still here because he doesn't have the talent Fields does.

Time? With nobody open. Except that one time with the WR who already caused one interception quitting, and didn't that play work, it just could've been better. You do realize you can blitz the QB and you can also take away the QB's targets, right?
This is a rookie QB who wasn't trained with the 1s all summer on a somewhat crappy offense who likes to randomly take plays off. A couple of hits on Oline (who might be on IR) and a few WRs and an HC who can design plays that actually work (or an OC) and this team could be a great one.
Right now we have a QB, RBs and half a WR. Maybe part of an oline. The HC/play designer is crap.

You're right Trubisky is more experienced and unfair to compare Fields to someone of his caliber he's not there yet if he does reach that level.

Fields is new to the NFL its not crazy to say he can play on the level of a bet who's lead teams to the playoffs.

Yep he was the weak link. Another wasted opportunity. Bears have great runningbacks. Defense that is good enough to win with todays nfl ruleset and a special teams that is better then the 2018 squad.

Their weak link is at the most important position . . . sadly all they need is AVERAGE PLAY at that position but can't even get that.
