The true meaning of music.

In my opinion, music, rap and rock 'cause everything else...I don't listen to, should contain lyrics telling a story or talking about life. A few songs here and there that are just for fun, hell, sounds tight.

I understand the big money is 'bout sex, drugs, cars, that shit...but it just doesn't seem right to me.

Music seems to calm me down and I listen to it all the time, I don't think a dude slappin' his "*****" around tends to relax me.

So, tell me, what do you think music should be about?

By the way, beats are some of my favorite parts of music. Drums, the instrumental, that stuff. Dunno why, I just enjoy it. :buttrock:

Music is about whatever makes you feel good. I don't think personal tastes can blur your vision on it. Me I like all kinds of metal and hate rap, r n b and hip hop. But if that is what does it for some people so be it. I won't knock the music.

i respect all music, but i don't like all music. rap sucks, but i respect them for making it their own form of art. people can express themselves in whatever way they want. doesn't mean i have to like it though.
