The Wrecking Crew

In the 60s there was a legendary group of session musicians that recorded much of the great hits of the decade. Many don't know that the actual band members didnt play on the recordings as they brought in the Wrecking Crew to do that.

They were famous for being able to do a record in one take without any mistakes. You look at other groups and it might take 2040 takes to get a record right. These guys did everything from the Beach Boys to Sinatra. 2 notable members of the Crew were Lean Russell and Glenn Campbell who isn't given credit or his guitar ability but hew was part of the Wrecking Crew.
