there's one point LBJ made perfectly clear that everyone seems to be forgetting...

LeBron James wants to win.

I'm sure he knows that he can't make it to the Finals with the Knicks.
I'm sure he knows that besides Him, Bosh, and Wade, the Miami Heat will be a team of nobodies.
I'm sure he knows that if he joins the Bulls, they will be perennial favorites for years to come.

i'm starting to get hope again. I'm not going to be surprised if he says something along the lines of "I said, from the beginning, I wanted to win.... and that is why, I choose the Chicago Bulls.

Looks like he is going with choice number 2. ESPN had on the bottom line thingy that all sources said signs point to Miami. I hope to god it's not true.

What you're forgetting is the last word of what he said. "I want to win NOW". The Bulls roster is nice...but the Heat Roster, albeit not as deep, is far better as far as top talent. I still hope he goes to the Bulls...just losing faith.

it's simple. If he wants to kill off his legend then he'll go to Miami.

Top Talent has never meant anything. You HAVE to have a bench that come in and make plays when needed and with the money the heat would have leftover they wouldn't be able to put that kind of bench together.

I think one team in the last 30-40 seasons has won a championship without a superstar player(s). The Pistons a few years ago.....

Yeah but you have to look at the other side of the argument.

Bosh,Wade, and James would undoubtedly put up crazy numbers. But I'm not sure even if they all average 25 points a game that's going to be enough.

Although with Wade being as fragile as he is, it's hard to make the case that a team with a combination of just two of the players is enough to make it through the playoffs, let alone the finals.

I can't think of any teams that have won the finals without a supporting cast, three "top level" talent players starting or not.

Boston has both top level talent and depth, but still couldn't overcome the depth of the Lakers.

I dunno,maybe I'm off base.

Wade hasnt missed time in two seasons and won't take the pounding he did with these other guys on the team.

I see the point but we can't assume lack of dpeth etc until we see how the roster fills out.

I reserve judgement until then.

In my opinion, its the other way around. The Bulls would be a better team now than the Heat. I actually think they might be even if Lebron goes there because they will have some of the worst players in the league playing along side him. League minimum rookies are usually pretty awful players.

Now, in 2-3 years when the Heat could use their exceptions to sign veteran players, that would change. They would be flat out dominant, and the NBA would suck for everyone outside of Miami. But you need role players to win titles, and the Heat with Lebron wouldn't have anything close to that this season.

The general consensus I keep hearing from the media is that if he wants to win now, he'll go to Chicago - they have the TEAM that is most ready to make the adjustments to having a new player or two and have solid depth as well. Tim Legler just made that point this morning on ESPN. I'm starting to think this whole Miami thing was made up by people like Broussard because they want to slobber all over the story of three stars being in one place.

I'd also like to know where all of these "signs pointing to Miami" are coming from, and why they're given more credence than signs of something special being in Chicago, Cleveland, or New York. I think it's the flavor of the day in this endless saga, and it just happened to break the day of the announcement.

with LeBron we are better then the Heat, seems like he is scared that Wade and Bosh together would keep him from getting out of the East and getting that ring, so he would rather join them instead of going against them

He comes to Chicago we are better then the Heat, we already have a better bench, Rose and Noah are young, they could probably move Deng for a solid Guard and Back Up Center give the Bulls even more depth

Hopefully Boozer was able to convince him because this is actually the better situation for him LONG TERM IMO

They've been saying on the radio that Wade has been in LeBron's ear the entire time about how bad the FO is and everything. How MJ told him that and how they mistreated Pippen and all those. How you never see those big players in the FO later.

Thanks Wade, you're the scum of the earth.

....and Jerry Krause hasn't been with this franchise in forever......that's just ridiculous and everyone knows it. If LeBron can't see that, he's dumber and more easily led than I thought.
