Quite honestly (and I shudder when I post this)-- remake Die Hard with Alan Rickman and Bruce Willis.

Cast Jason Statham in Alexander Gudonov's place. I'll direct it.

I wonder if they'd bring back Whitney, drugged up and all.

But yeah, Supraman, I agree... This is why I'm not much of a mainstream movie person. Too many copies, no original ideas.

I also heard they are making an ET 2.

Edit: Apparently that was just a rumor started when someone made a mashup trailer. It's not true.

I'd rather see a remake of "Stop or my Mom Will Shoot"

I mean seriously...has Kevin Costner done ANYTHING good? Survey says....NO!

The Bodyguard.

Bull Durham.

Dances With Wolves.

Sorry all. He has a decent resume.

Oh, and the Bodyguard was surprisingly good.

Well I mean some movies look good. I liked the movie Red. Sure it was based off a graphic novel and I'm okay with that. The best movies coming out nowadays are based off Comics, Graphic Novels, or true stories.

"D'joo **** my wife?"

BTW, Kotl - think you might be in the minority here - I agree with BHP, he has had some pretty good movies. And while his performance may not have been the best in it, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves wasn't a bad flick.

Add these to the list of his good performances;

Fandango

Silverado

American Flyers

No Way Out

A Perfect World

Mr Brooks

He is one of my favorite actors. Admittedly, lately alot of his roles have sucked. I think his best element is suspensful thrillers.

They've got no choice BUT to do true stories. They're as original as you can get.

Bleh. I'll stick with being in the minority. Every time someone tells me I have to watch a Costner flick because it's so good (Dances with Wolves, Waterworld, The Postman), the only emotion it provoked was wanting the past 3 hours of my life back.

I'm with the lord on this one. not a big Costner fan. infact I think he overacts. Bull Durham was good but it was Tim Robbins that carried that film if you ask me.

Infact thinking about every Costner film I think the majority of the time its the supporting cast members that are carrying his ass. Even Waterworld Dennis Hoper was the only decent thing in the film. Dancing with Wolves? Graham Greene carried that film. Field of Dreams? James Earl Jones character is the one that sticks out to me. Wyatt Earp was all Gene Hackman and maybe Dennis Quaid. JFK was chalked full of good performances and I will admit it's probably Costners best performance. I can't really think of a film where he carried it himself though. Any film that he tried to do so..well it was a box office failure for good reason.

I don't think any of the films mentioned in this thread can be credited as Costner films. He is one of those actors that needs a good supporting cast around him.

Just my opinion.

But anyways I plan on being in The Bodyguard 3. Co staring Jako.
