They can fire Eberflus

There's zero excuse for Eberflus job to be safe. You're paying if he's fired, you're paying him if he's retained and coaches the rest of the year. He needs to be fired and they need to name an interim coach. No one is getting paid more to be fired no one is getting paid more to be named interim. No excuses. He's getting a buyout whether it's now or later.

The additional expense comes with the new hire. That's not until next year. You're paying him to coach a bad football team. Promote someone else to run this until the end. Eric Washington makes the most sense and let Jon Hoke take over defensive play calling.

Eberflus is like lovie smith a decent DC who cant figure out an offense and is not HC material.

Yea, this isn't a superbowl roster. It's a first-round playoff loser. Give Caleb a couple more years and get a couple stalwarts on the offensive line and then you might be able to say it's a superbowl roster.

Absolutely hilarious how this offseason went. The hubris makes it easy to root against them.
