Things I'm remembering watching the Game 2 replay, sober

1) Our offensive stars were invisible the first few games. Big players need to show up in the playoffs and ours just didn't early on in this series.

2) We're gonna miss Campbell and Brouwer. I never liked Campbell and his weenie play going into this last year, especially at that price, but he started hitting some and still moved the puck and led the team in +/-. Brouwer did a lot of little things and put up points and I just think we're gonna miss both of those guys.

3) Stalberg couldn't hold the puck if you put a fucking handle on it. Fast but he's always chasing his own turnover.

4) I'm as excited as hell about a full season of Ben Smith.

5) Crawford is a pimp.

6) Luongo is a *****.

7) Hossa seems to still do the little things but his inner-sniper is on permanent vacation.

8) We got every bad bounce possible (that ridiculous goal with 14 seconds left from the blueline that went off Smith's stick, etc) and I think with just even breaks we would have won the series.

9) We had JUST gotten Sharp back and played the early part of the series without Bolland and that damned sure didn't help.

10) I effin' despise Vancouver and hope the franchise folds.

1- Two exceptions... Sharp was easily the hardest playing player on the ice during these bad games. He was absolutely incredible... the hardest skater and easily the most physical presence on the Hawks (which says a lot about how bad the team was playing). Also, Toews was so brutally covered/mugged/shut down that you can't really poop on his performance. Vancouver made him as little a factor as is humanly possible.

4- Shit yeah LITTLE BEN SMITH. I am fully on board the Lil Ben Hype Train.

5- Yup. I'm going to watch game 7 just to see him stand on his head again.

6- Truly the perfect goalie for that team. A match made in asshole heaven.

10- I enjoyed Vancouver losing in the finals waaaaaaaaaaay too much.
