When the news of Carlos Boozer's injury hit, I think most Bulls fans, including myself, went into survival mode. Just make it through the first month of the season and hang around hoping that Boozer's reinsertion into the offense would...

This team was always legit even without Booz. We are way better then we were with VDN.

This team isn't a legitimate title contender yet. I'm not saying they have zero chance at a championship this season. But to put them up with LAL and BOS? No way.

very happy with the way this team is playing...but I still think we need another scorer off the bench or hopefully Watson will continue to play like he did in the 4th Quarter against Dallas and Korver can get it going, I think Korver will benefit the most with the return of Boozer

even with Boozer I don't think we can compete with the Lakers or Celtics (when healthy), but I do think we match up well with the Heat and others

Disagree. Once we have Boozer back, we can definitely compete with Boston, Orlando. Still interested to see how Miami grows throughout the year but they have trouble handling teams that have great big mean and a great PG. We have both.

Competing & beating Boston/Orlando are two different things.

Face it, they're both better than the Bulls, still.

If we win our division, i think we;re gonna be a lock for a top seed. hopefully that will help our chances. At the moment both cleveland and milwaukee are helping us.

What how can jamesons' staggering efficiency of 2-11 not dissuade you from your conclusion. Plus there's mo williams, he's more effective than 'pulling out'.

There are only 5 good teams in the East, it's possible the 6-8 will all have loising records. If we can find a way to not just win the division but sneak the third seed then it's pretty much a free trip to the second round.

The Bulls aren't deep enough to beat Boston. Orlando they might have a shot at as I'm not really sold on Orlando being that deep but right now you have to really like what Howard has shown on the offensive end and the way Carter has played. Nelson is also a bonafide PG as well.

Even with Boozer I think the Bulls would fall to Orlando in 5 or 6 games but it would be a good series IMO.

Boston is playing maybe the best basketball in the NBA right now and that is with them still missing Perkins. The Bulls IMO don't have the chops to beat them and if Miami ever gets healthy or gets it together they are obviously better than the Bulls as well.

Rose is playing fantastic on a bum toe. Noah is having a great season as well. Deng is still too inconsistant to really count on him for the 18PPG he is giving right now. That stat is skewed pretty hard by the 40 point outburst against the Trailblazers. In the other 10 games he is going for around 16.5 PPG and since that game has only scored more than 20 once. Taj has been playing very well but not has a bit of a hurt foot but will be a very nice piece off the bench when Boozer is back. Brewer hasn't really done much. Bogans is a solid "meh" guy as a starter and Korver is very one dimensional. CJ Watson has been very disappointing thus far as well.

It's very early in the season thus far so these guys will ebb and flow throughout the year but I wouldn't call this Bulls team legit at all. When all is said and done I think they will be a very solid 4 seed behind Boston, Miami, and Orlando but I just don't think they have the depth/talent to go against those teams in a 7 game series.
