We all read or see crazy or unusual things that we'd like to share, but it may not be something that warrants its own thread. I thought it would be a good idea to post and discuss those here.





These are some of the ones that I've seen in the last few days.





This first one is about a woman that gives her 8 year old daughter botox injections as part of the preparation to be in those little kids beauty pageants. Don't get me started on those psycho nutjob pageant moms who try to live vicariously through their children,

The next story was about a woman in Oregon that had dental surgery and came out of the anesthetic speaking with a British/Irish accent.

Well you might feel bad about lol'ing, i learned of this guy from encyclopedia dramatica, hes a 29 year old with aspergers. But the dude posts videos of comedy gold none the less.



The backstory to this video is he video taped a tour of his house which totally belonged on hoarders, and posted it on the internet and his dad is freaked out they will get their house taken away.



I mean for christs sake ED has a video of this poor guy fucking a blowup doll.

OK This story pales in comparison to some of the others in this thread but its a dreary, rainy day so here is my story.

I saved the lives of 2 painted turtles

I've been an avid bicyclist for almost 20 years now and Thursday of this week I was doing a 35 mile ride out on some rural roads. During the ride I saw a few turtles on the road that had been smashed by cars. Further into the ride I saw a turtle get straddled by a couple of cars, barely avoiding a new existance of being a turtle pancake. As I got closer the turtle would hide in his shell as a car approached and pop back out after the car was past. I looked both ways and rode to the turtle. As he sensed me approaching he turtled up again, at this point he was close to the center line and would most certainly be a goner if another car came by. I picked him up and his head and legs popped out and he was off to the track meet as I released him into the grass.



A few miles later another turtle was stuck at the base of a curb so I helped him over into the grass and then proceeded to finish my ride.



A turtle walks into the police station and says" I was just mugged by some snails"



The officer asks "did you get a good look at them" ?



The turtle replies ....



































"it happened to fast"

I live in the NW suburbs of Chicago. Lots of lakes and wetlands scattered around undeveloped areas that are still being actively farmed mixed in with forest preserve land.
