cliff note: Ebonics originated from a Cornwall (England) accent.

That was the big mind blown moment.

JRE is like a very nice Gorilla got a human body, a podcast, and a gift for conversation.

Thomas Sowell is one of the last legitimately brilliant Conservative voices in America (although he denies any such labels), the last lone dying echo of what once was.

There was a time when Conservatives were the more measured, steady, reasoned, and mature branch of politics. With names like Milton Friedman, Von Mises, Russel Kirk, and Bill Buckley leading the charge.

Now what is there? Trump, Shapiro, Bannon, Palin and Cruz?

Not the first to say it but I didn't leave Conservative movement, it left me.

One of my favorite parts of living in 2022 is how Trump and his hard-core supporters have co-opted the terms "Republican" and "Conservative" and redefined them. That anyone could consider the daughter of Dick Cheney or Cocaine Mitch as 'RINOs' is amazingly funny to me.
