Many of you probably don't even realize that NewZealandHawk is a member of our IHN family. He doesn't post much, but those of us that are on late at night are aware of his existence. He was just on yesterday. I hope that he and his family were not affected by the earthquake and that they are safe. My thoughts and prayers are with him and the rest of his country at this terrible time. I'm sure there are others that would like to express their thoughts too. Human to Human, Hawk Fan to Hawk Fan.

On a separate online forum I'm a member of we had a Kiwi we were worried about all day today; he recently got in touch with us to let us know he was good. Hopefully we will have the same outcome here.

NZH I bet was the cause of it. He watched the Hawks vs. Blues from Monday and went nuts.

Can we change Bri's status from RIP to Gold Star Mother?

Hi Guys,

Yeah Bri's pure gold!!

Me and my family are well, we live in Napier which is in the north island while Christchurch where the quake struck is in the south.

The destruction they are faced with is unbelieveable, 168 people confirmed dead with many more still to be recovered. Christchurch will never be the same.

One positive from this is the way the rest of the country has rallied around them, from money, to food, to offering thier spare rooms to the people who have no homes to go back to. Its a horrific situation that they will be dealing with for a very long time but they will not be doing it alone.

My city, Napier, coincidently was flattened by an earthquake in 1931 killing around 260 people. We rebuilt and recovered but we never forget what this city has gone through.

Thanks to you all for your thoughts and best wishes, it means alot. Bri's right I dont post alot but I'm always here late at night (your time) and love reading through your posts.

Go The Mighty Blackhawks,

Mark.
