Not giving my money to this tripe. Plundering a much beloved franchise so Hollywood can appear progressive is just despicable.
They fell short of capturing the magic with Ghostbusters II, and those arrogant studio execs think they can do better with this collection of sub-par talent lead by hack-director Paul Feig? Really now.
The trailer did nothing to change my mind. It will be bland, listless, and probably huge in China.

I won't be watching it but I wouldn't have even given it a second look had I not seen an interview with Dan Aykroyd where he gave his blessing on the movie and thought it was a great idea to have a female cast. I did a double take when he said that. Reeked of paid to say it. Can't imagine him genuinely liking a bunch of second rate cunts making a hack movie.

Meh, not so much as having an all-female cast that bothers me. It's having an unfunny all-female cast that bothers me. Movie looks dumb as hell. Melissa McCarthy definitely makes it a no go. Then there's this:

I'm so sick of reboots I could wretch. Can't wait to see them butcher 'Ocean's 11.' Unlike Hollywood, television is putting on a clinic of what a story, compelling characters, and dialogue can deliver. See anything from AMC lately as an example.

The funny thing is that I saw the 4 women together on Jimmy Kimmel and then The Graham Norton show and they were pretty funny together. But the trailers make it look like that didn't transfer over to the film.
