Everytime the thread cache is cleared (assuming by crys?) it removes every thread under "new posts", even ones with posts just minutes prior. With how many subforums ccs has, and the fact that I like to participate in a majority of them, I use "new posts" 90% of the time instead of navigating all over the place. Is there a way for threads that have recent posts to be ignored during the clear? Maybe posts in the last 3-6 hours?

Or is this another thing limited by vBulletin?

I haven't cleared cache in over a month and only do it when needed because it's not something that particularly breaks. My guess is that you must be talking about the 24 hour clock resetting with server time and pulling new stats and so fourth with it, and yes, that is how the software is designed.

Here, I'll force clear caching and you can see.

Ahh, didn't realize it was a thing that happened automatically on a timer. That makes sense.

It even clears threads out of your subscribed threads.. which is just weird to me. But vBulletin gonna vBulletin I suppose.

Hmmm... that is weird. These all are cookie related. Well, vBulletin still uses a strict http/1 cookie standard(even in the newest experimental versions), so I'm not surprised.
