Good morning BlackHawks Crew!!!!
I don't know about you guys but I am SUPER PUMPED about the game on Sunday afternoon. It's playing during my kids' birthday party but I'm going to thoroughly enjoy watching the Hawks STEAMROLL some Ducks while grilling dogs n' burgz and playing circus-themed games with a bunch of kindergartners.
This thread is about being pumped, what you guys do to GET pumped, and general playoff gameday preparations/rituals/menus and what not.
I can't grow a "playoff beard" and I do not own any Hockey Jerseys so I will probably just have a little stubble going and wear a necklace I made with my daughter - I got a puck and spraypainted it silver and bedazzled it with some rinestones so it says "CHAMPS!" on it, then i screwed an i-hook into it and put it on a chain. Looks pretty boss and my lil girl is pumped about it. I do have a hawks T-shirt I bought after the most recent stanley cup victory and never wore it so I'll probably wear that shit too.
Because i need to socialize I won't get to put on my headphones for pregame pump up time (usually go down in the basement and hit the heavy bag for like 20 minutes), but I'm gonna crank up the circus music playlist and get a little cray with some bourbon before the puck drops.
Anybody else do some special shit for the games? Looking forward to hearing back from you guys. You guys are great!
