Cnn saying compound leg fractures...plural.

I am trying to wrap my head around best case scenario with those words...and there is none.
Bones sticking out of both legs or just multiple bones on the same leg punching through your flesh.

There is no best case- both are a nightmare.

from what I heard, no life threatening injuries, but possible career ending injuries

It really depends on the type of compound fractures when he can play again. From the description of the accident, he was really lucky this was not way worse. To go almost 1,000 feet in the oncoming 2 lanes and not have a head on collision is improbable. Sounds like his upper extremities were not affected at all.

Rebuilding bone isn't bad.
My pooch is 4 weeks out from the pics I posted in anther thread and already using his leg heavily.

But who knows what soft tissue was shredded bopping around a cabin hard enough for multiple open breaks.

Don't care how much money he has...his life is gonna be rough for the foreseeable future.

Do we even know if it was him or someone he switched faces with?

Shattered ankle in one leg, compound fibia and tibia in the other, sounds like there is threat of infection because of significant tissue injuries, which means probably more surgeries.

Alex Smith says what

Fair enough, but didn't Tiger Woods spend most of the past decade having like a half dozen surgeries on his back?

He can recover from this, but not enough to still play golf at a competitive level between the two IMO. I hope he proves me wrong, but I bet Tiger's PGA career is done.

He was already one big injury away from pretty much being done imo. 10+ years of back trouble, his knee basically fell apart in the 2008 US Open, he's had to alter his swing a few times because of his back and other injuries.

Just tough to imagine he'll be able to hit it consistently enough to compete on the regular tour ever again.

That sucks, he probably would have had a lot of good years left.

Without bothering to look it up, I believe he is tied with Sam Snead for most all time PGA victories with 82. Still behind Jack when it comes to Majors. Given that the PGA competes nearly every week, (I don't know if(but wouldn't be surprised if they didn't) count things like The Open, Masters, or the US Championship in this) I'm honestly surprised at how low that number is given his absolute dominance from 99-2004.

He's played a pretty limited schedule for most of his career. I bet his wins as a percentage of starts is far better than any other player in history.

I think he once won like 6 starts in a row, which is one of the most ridiculous achievements in the history of sports imo.

Crazy part is that there isn't anyone who is really taking up his mantle. Dustin Johnson?? Maybe. I think it probably speaks to how deep the field is now. It was still pretty deep with Tiger in his prime, but he was just torching people. Tennis never really had that, when you think of going from Bjorg to Connors to Agassi to Sampras to Federrer.
