To now continue to rail against Cutler is howling at the moon, tilting at windmills, typing in metaphors. It’s futile. So just stop and swallow his eye rolls and sighs of apathy. Save the the tired Internet memes and the sexist jokes for your Derrick Rose chucklefests with friends. And in their stead, here’s a noble idea: root for the guy. Don’t pine for interceptions just so you can burp “Told ya so!”

Stop comparing him to the elites like Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning. He’s not them, never will be, and isn’t asked to be by his employer, and you’re wrong to befoul the guy because he’s not like inevitable Hall of Famers. What he is in 2013 is a guy with a better QB rating and completion percentage than Brady, Cam Newton, Carson Palmer, Robert Griffin III, Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, and Joe Flacco, all guys that I guarantee would be favored over Cutler in one of those always-rational “Who would you rather have?” online fan polls.
:doorrofl: good luck with that!

In the words of Lovie Smith..."Jay Cutler is our quarterback". With the long term deal in place, you might as well get behind the guy. Even if you disagree the decision, he is going to be behind center for quite awhile in a Bears uniform. So if you actually give a fuck about the team, it's silly to continue to root against Cutler. IMHO anyways.

Can we still root against his body languages?

depends. how many does he have?

can he cock his neck cannon in French?

He has many, but they are all different dialects of the body language of indifference.

In the end its not really important whether he wins or loses or plays good or bad, only that his body language accurately reflects the sentiment that each particular viewer believes he ought to have at the exact time they expect him to have it.

"I beg of you, let it go. General manager Phil Emery, head coach Marc Trestman, and the Bears organization as a whole give negative craps about your opinion of Cutler. There was even an air of a giant Cutleresque middle finger being extended to the basest of the fanbase during the epic press conference Thursday. Not only are you wrong, they feel, but you’re seven years and $126 million wrong. The only thing that could have driven the “kiss our ass” sentiment home better is if they had Virginia McCaskey step out in a smile and Baby New Year outfit and count the entire contract out in $100 bills."

Ya know even people I know who are and have been Cutler fans are getting swept up in the hating.... my Dad was texting me all pissed off about it until I reminded him he doesn't hate Cutler, he just happened to like McCown better cause he tingled my Dad (and every old Bears fan's) backup QB nerve bringing back pleasant memories of Jim Miller. Once I reminded him he didn't hate Cutler he was ok again.

I don't get it lol, I know alot of knowledgeable football fans genuinely dislike Cutler as a QB, fair enough, duly noted. However, Cutler hate has turned in to this iPhone fad kind of thing where people hate Cutler "cause all the kool kids are doing it" and when you nail them down (not literally) and you ask them about it, they usually say "Well that Josh Mcknown guy played way better why cants we just keeps hims?" and you explain that while what he did was impressive and you should like him, he is not a long term solution and in the end Cutler staying here has no bearing on McCown sticking around, he can sign another deal if he wishes or retire again. Liking what McCown did does not mean you have to automatically hate Cutler, thats silly. Then they think for 5 seconds and go "Yeah I guess thats true, its just McCown..." and you cut them off and explain it 3-8 more times and they then realize they don't actually hate Cutler they are just fucking retards who barely watch enough football to name 5 players on the Bears roster.
