Who else has the beginning of Chelsea Dagger as a ringtone? There, I admitted it. And every time one of my hockey watching buddies calls and the "hockey buddy" ringtone goes off I get the "we scored" feeling in my gut and can't wait for the season to start. Also I listen to damned near the whole thing before answering. ;-)

I used to have an mp3 of 'Here Come the Hawks' - that sorta 60's theme song that they used to play all of the time (think it was that version too) - sounded like a cheezy airline advertising jingle.

its for a selected group. I mean I do have multiple songs for groups and specific people. So I dont have it all the time. The goal horn was for when the wife called, and that got annoying real quick. I hate chelsea dagger so I wont put that on my phone. there really isnt a good ringtone for sports or in general that is out there. my favorite by far is silent mode.

It's only my tone for the hockey gang. Most frequent callers have their own and the rest of them have the generic ancient phone ringer supplied by apple. It's cool to be at the office though and hear "whoooooo dum duh duh dum duh duh dum..."

Well yeah, if I were into ring tones, I think I would either go with the first few bars of either:

Iron Man by Black Sabbath (mind you Nancy Faust used to play yhtat on the big organ at the stadium when Secord hit the ice)....

or Back in Black by Akka Dakka.

But, then again - I don't use ring tones, as I I ususally just have ever had the cheap phones -and find something generic (must mean I am old or something ... as I can't relate the first bars of a song to my phone ringing -or rather, don't think I would...)

I have a ringtone editor on my phone and just edit what I want on my Mac.
Honestly, I keep going back to a "ringing" sound just because ringtones annoy me.




Just like that awful Chelsea Dagger song.
